Message from Head of Corps

Centenary of RA Sigs - Certa Cito 100

Dear RASigs Colleagues and Former Serving RASigs Members,

Anzac Day is a time to pause to commemorate those who died or have suffered through their service of our nation. It is also a time when we come together as a community, reflecting on memories of service. I seek your support to bring our Corps together, both serving and former serving, to form a single Signals Community ahead of our Corps Centenary in 2025. Certa Cito 100 promises to be a wonderful year to celebrate our service to Army and the nation, to commemorate the legacy of those who have served before us, and to connect our Signals Community as we face new challenges.

The Certa Cito 100 page on our Corps website, The Signaller, will be the single source to communicate across what will be a very busy year. I encourage you to have a look now to “Register interest” to receive updates, save the dates for our two key note events (14 Feb 25 in Melbourne and 10 Nov 25 in Canberra) and to Contribute to our Corps Centenary book.

The attached flyer includes a QR Code, and I request your support to share it on social media sites, print and display at events and email it to friends and colleagues. I have attached both a .pdf and an image file to assist those who wish to print or those who wish to share the image on social media. Certa Cito 100 themes are: Celebrate, Commemorate, and Connect.

Celebrate. In 2025, the Royal Australian Corps of Signals will celebrate a century of service by generations of Australians in war and peace, under the Certa Cito 100 banner. Celebrations will commence on 14 Feb 25 with a Corps Centenary Commencement Parade in Melbourne, followed by regional and unit events throughout the year. Certa Cito 100 celebrations will conclude in Corps Week, with a National Corps Day Commemorative Parade on 10 Nov 25 in Canberra.

Commemorate. The Royal Australian Corps of Signals has a long and proud history of service to our nation. Certa Cito 100, will commemorate and reflect on the history of the Corps, the legacy of those who have served before us.

Connect. While we celebrate and commemorate the Corps and the service of those over the past 100 years, we must also connect our veterans and serving members, families, and future generations who will carry the Caduceus forward.

Certa Cito,
Deane Limmer
