This will be our second RA Sigs Lanyard Presentation in our Centenary year, and we are making a specific effort to include past serving, current serving and Defence industry partners to help make for a great environment for our newest LT’s graduating into the Corps from RMC-D. The event will be hosted within the Duntroon House Officers Mess.

Time: 13 August 2925, 1700h start, 1900h finish (1800h presentation of lanyards)

Location: Main Dining Room, DHOM, Royal Military College Duntroon, Campbell

Catering: Limited Finger Food provided, drinks available at the bar at own cost

Dress: Smart casual (mess appropriate)

The August 2025 cohort will have 15 individuals posting across the following units: 1 Sig, 2 Sig, 3 CSR, 7 CSR, 1 RAR, 2 RAR, DFSS, 9 FSB and the School of Space and Cyber, so we encourage you to join us in celebrating a significant milestone for our newest members on their introduction to the Corps.

Be part of history in the making!

RA Sigs ACT and GWS Giants are celebrating the Centenary of the Royal Australian Corps of Signals. Two of our Corps stalwarts, MAJGEN Simone Wilkie and MAJGEN Kath Toohey will officiate at the AFL ANZAC Round in the GWS v Bulldogs match at Manuka Oval Canberra, with Simone doing the coin toss for the main game. Sigs from 143 will also support the curtain raiser ADF Women v New South Wales Police Women.

The Anzac Day program for 2025 in the ACT is a very special one to commemorate our RA Sigs Centenary.  RASAACT are honoured to join in leading the Veteran’s March at the Australian War Memorial and parading the Princess Anne Banner.

In this Centenary year of the Royal Australian Corps of Signals, we pay tribute to the service and sacrifices of women who have served, as well as defence spouses, family members and women in civilian organisations that support the defence and veteran communities.

RA Sigs Association ACT is hosting an International Women’s Day lunch at the National Press Club in Canberra. This years’ theme March Forward – Accelerate Action presents us with an exciting opportunity. Introduced by Head of Corps BRIG Deane Limmer, our keynote LTGEN Susan Coyle AM, CSC, DSM Chief of Joint Capabilities will challenge us to identify specific, actionable, and tangible actions we will take in next 12 months to break down barriers, drive change and mobilise action.

1300 Panel discussion and interactive session on “Marching Forward” with outstanding leaders, including Kylah Limmer, Captain Kate Pisani, the Honorable Kate Lundy, Warrant Officer Class One Virginia Morris, and Commander Tina Brown, CSM, RAN.

Royal Australian Corps of Signals Centenary 2025

This year RA Sigs will recognise its centenary year with a series of events and activities to commemorate and celebrate 100 years of the Royal Australian Corps of Signals, reflecting on our past, present and future.

The commemorations and celebrations will build esprit de Corps and foster linkages between serving and former serving members, our families, RA Sigs Associations, related associations, and industry.

The RA Sigs Association ACT and the Certa Cito Foundation invites you to the ACT Centenary Launch Garden Party on Friday 14 February 2025 from 1600h on the lawns of Duntroon House.

All ranks encouraged to attend and please bring your family and friends.
